You might be trying to overthrow the Turkish government

You. Yes, you. You might be trying to overthrow the Turkish government and you might not even know it. You don’t have to have a specific profession like a soldier; you can be an ordinary citizen, a football fan or a journalist; you might be trying to overthrow the Turkish government.

It is not up to you to decide, not up to what you are doing, not up to where you are, not up to your ethnicity or authenticity; you might be trying to overthrow the Turkish government.

It is not like you would know, or that you should know; you might be trying to overthrow the government.

What do you have to do to make sure you are not trying to overthrow the government?

Be the government.

You see, the government is everywhere. Sure it is in buildings, on papers, in books, and various physical forms, but the government is everywhere. With all its might, you shall feel the government inside of you, in your blood, in your soul, in the air you breathe or the water you drink.

Be the government.

Praise it.

Love it.

Make people love it.

Force people to love it.

Arrest people if they don’t love it.

Defend it.

Blindly defend it.

Force people to defend it.

Arrest people if they don’t defend it.

No?

Well, then, you might as well be trying to overthrow the Turkish government.
